Counsellors first, consultants second

Skystar Global was founded in Dhaka in 2017 by Md Ripon Mahmud, who had watched too many bright students around him accept whatever a middleman suggested because nobody had ever sat down and explained their real options. He opened a modest counselling office with one conviction: a student's future deserves the same care an adviser would give their own younger sibling. The earliest students came through friends and relatives; they stayed because every conversation ended with a clear, truthful picture of costs, chances and choices.

From that single desk, Skystar Global has grown into a full-service consultancy on West Panthapath, guiding students to universities across ten countries — from tuition-friendly Malaysia and Poland to the research powerhouses of the UK, Canada and Australia. Along the way we built the services families kept asking for under one roof: test preparation, application processing, visa counselling, travel management, career counselling and language programmes, delivered by a senior team that has handled thousands of files between them.

What sets our work apart today is how it runs behind the scenes. Under our CTO, Md. Shahin Alam, Skystar has invested in technology-driven processes — digital document tracking, structured application checklists and timely status updates — so nothing is lost in a drawer and no family is left wondering where their file stands. More than two thousand students later, we still measure success one way: a student settled and thriving at a campus that was genuinely right for them.
