Frequently asked questions
How should I prepare for the F-1 interview in Dhaka?
The interview lasts only a few minutes, so clarity wins: know why you chose your university and course, how your family funds the plan, and what you intend after graduation. We rehearse with realistic mock interviews before every appointment.
Can a Bangladeshi student get full funding in the USA?
Yes โ teaching and research assistantships routinely cover full tuition plus a monthly stipend, particularly in STEM departments. Strong grades, research exposure and early emails to professors materially improve the odds, and we target departments with a record of funding international students.
Is the GRE still required?
At most universities, no โ many programmes have made it optional or dropped it. A good score still strengthens funding applications at competitive departments, so we advise course by course rather than with a blanket rule.
What does the whole US process cost before tuition?
Budget roughly BDT 1.5โ2.5 lakh covering application fees, the SEVIS fee, the visa fee, English tests and courier costs. Assistantships and scholarships can repay that investment many times over.
