How much does Skystar Global charge for its services?
Your first counselling session is completely free with no obligation, and for most of our partner institutions the application processing carries no service charge, as the universities compensate us directly. Wherever a fee does apply — certain visa services or non-partner applications — you receive a written, itemised quotation before any work begins, and it never changes afterwards.
Which countries does Skystar process applications for?
We currently support ten destinations: Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, Poland, the United Kingdom and the USA. Our counsellors compare them against your budget, academic profile and career plans honestly — we never steer you towards a country simply because it is easier for us to process.
How long does the whole journey take, from first visit to departure?
Plan for six to twelve months depending on the destination. English testing and applications typically take two to four months, offers another one to two, and visa processing anywhere from three weeks to three months by country. Starting a year before your intake gives you the best universities, the best scholarships and a calm timeline.
Do I definitely need IELTS to study abroad?
Not always. Many universities accept OIETC, PTE, Duolingo or a Medium of Instruction certificate, and some destinations such as China accept MOI for English-medium programmes. IELTS remains the most widely accepted option and strengthens visa files, so we assess your target country first and then recommend the test that saves you the most time and money.
What financial documents will my family need to show?
Every destination requires proof that first-year tuition and living costs are covered, usually through bank statements, fixed deposits or a solvency certificate. Parents are the most common sponsors and need proof of relationship, income sources and a consent letter; some countries add specific rules, such as the UK's 28-day seasoning requirement or Canada's GIC. We review your financial papers free of charge before you commit to anything.
